A benefit to booking early

Exciting news: our wedding photographer was on a segment on the Today show this morning!!! That’s right, Lynn Michelle, who was featured on a trash the dress segment on our local nightly news a couple weeks ago, was featured in a trash the dress segment on the Today show. How awesome is that??

I am so happy for Lynn, and even happier for us! This publicity is sure to increase Lynn's popularity, which in turn will probably increase the cost to book her. Since we have already signed on the dotted line and paid our deposit, we get her amazing service in 2011 for her current 2009 price.

There are many pros (lots of time for DIY projects) and cons (a long countdown clock until I can call myself Chris’ wife) of a longer engagement, but this benefit of booking early has put a huge smile on my face today!
