Passport To Love: Ending On A Good Note

As the clock was nearing the end of our reception, we had two songs to end the night right.  As my fellow Aggie Mrs. Cardigan already mentioned, the Aggie War Hymn is a staple of an Aggie wedding.  (It was also played at the Hyenas wedding!)

Whoop!

Mr. E and his fellow UNT Eagles decided to show their school spirit during our Aggie War Hymn.

Just like Mrs. Cheeseburger, we wanted to "Shout" to the end of an amazing day.

I love how our guests surrounded us for one last dance.

A little bit softer now

A little bit louder now

Once Shout was over, the DJ instructed the guests to head outside (where it had just stopped raining) and get ready for our sparkler exit.  With the room cleared out (after a little bit of prodding from us) we were able to have our private last dance to Eric Benet's "Spend My Life With You".

These last moments of the reception, in the arms of my new husband, were some of the best moments of the entire night.

We sang to each other, and just basked in the love and happiness that we were surrounded by on our big day.

It was amazing that two years of planning had come to fruition in what seemed like the fastest day ever.  I wouldn't trade all of the planning for anything.  Mr. E and I, as well as my parents, had so much fun with all of the DIY projects and I truly believe that we all found a crafty side of ourselves that we didn't know existed.  We were so happy that we could share this day (and really the whole weekend) with all of our friends and family.

Are there any special songs that you will include in your reception?

Up next: Our sparkler send off!
